Mediation Experience

In his first 1500 cases, Jerry Diekemper's settlement rate is approximately 80%. He is a member of the AAA Panel of Mediators and its Commercial, Labor, and Employment arbitration panels. He is certified as a mediaton neutral for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He has been designated as an Advanced Practioner by the Workplace Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution. He is also a member of the Association of the Attorney Mediators. For two years, he was the Special Master for Mediation of the Lead Paint Docket for the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis.

Approximately two-thirds of the disputes mediated have been employment related and involve all types of employment discrimination claims including: race, gender (including sexual harassment, pregnancy, glass ceiling, and same sex issues), national origin, age, and disability discrimination and retaliation as well as employment contract issues including non-compete, compensation, non-disclosure and benefit entitlement issues.

Non-employment related disputes have included areas such as personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, business contracts, estates and trusts, real estate, and legal and medical malpractice.

Rates: $400 per hour, plus expenses. Cancellation fee equivalent to two hours of service if mediation is cancelled within ten business days of scheduled date.
