Training: Has completed mediation training courses offered by U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri, Association of Attorney-Mediators, and American Arbitration Association. Has served as faculty member for National Institute for Trial Advocacy program on negotiation and mediation and for the American Arbitration Association on mediation training.
Experience: After one year with National Labor Relations Board, has engaged in private practice specializing in labor and employment law matters for 35 years. Clients include unions and individual employees, both as plaintiffs and defendants, in labor and civil rights litigation. Extensive experience in federal court and arbitration. Certified as a mediation neutral for the United States District Court, Eastern District of Missouri. Designated as Advanced Practitioner by Workplace Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution. Selected as a member of the Employment ADR Roster of the American Arbitration Association. Appointed Special Master for mediation of Lead Paint Docket cases by Circuit Court of City of St. Louis. Appointed as a mediator or early neutral evaluator in more than 1500 cases since October, 1993. Issues involved have included: age discrimination, sex discrimination, (including pregnancy, sex harassment, and glass ceiling issues), national origin discrimination, handicap discrimination, ERISA rights, business disputes, estates and trusts, personal injury, real estate, legal malpractice and medical malpractice. Has authored law journal articles, CLE materials, and papers for presentation at attorneys' conferences. Has been speaker at conferences sponsored by state and local bar associations, international and local unions, law schools, and the American Arbitration Association.

Compensation: $400.00 per hour. Cancellation fee equivalent to two hours of service if mediation is cancelled within ten business days of scheduled date. Travel time billed for travel outside the St. Louis, Missouri, metropolitan area.
